Obbet Chimal, also known as “Coach” has been a General Contractor for 12 years. He spent his early years working in Multifamily and Commercial work. Five years ago he took the plunge and opened JLC Renovations & Solutions to now incorporate Residential. He loves a good gut and remodel, he loves to see his clients ideas come to fruition in their homes. Coach & JLC Renovations strive to make the client happy while staying in budget. Coach is a father of a young teenager, and they both enjoy any project that can get their hands dirty. He loves to spend what off time he can fishing, hunting, and dirt-biking. He also Head Coach for a local Non Profit Boxing club for at risk youth, Chief Cornerstone Boxing in Hillsboro, as well as sponsoring the USA Jr. Olympic Competitive Team and gym. 💪🏾🥊🥊
Laila Allen
General Manager
Laila Allen has been managing our office and all things Customer Service for the last 3 years. She graduated from University of Washington in 2000 with a background in Art History and business art ethics. She has worked in sales for over 21 years and has owned her own small business for several of those years. Laila loves all things creative, and enjoys meeting and working with diverse peoples of all trades. Always ready to support, teach and brainstorm to find solutions and the next dynamic project come to fruition. She will be working closely with Design Consultant Heather Buxton to make your ideas come to life. Laila and Coach have been friends for 8 years and have enjoyed working together for 3 years as volunteers at a local Non Profit, Chief Cornerstone Boxing. Laila is happily married with two kids, is a huge San Francisco 49er Fan, and in her spare time loves scrapbooking, photography, and camping.
Heather Buxton
Design Consultant
Heather studied Interior Design at Portland Community College, and began as a Design Assistant concurrently. As an Interior Designer, Heather has worked with Builders on new homes, created Interior Design plans for clients, and worked with Contractors on renovations. In addition, she took up Floral Design, Makeup Artistry, Holiday Decorating, and Event Planning. Heather was also a Retail Account Executive for a cosmetic brand, and had two event planning companies. Heather lives in Hillsboro with her husband and four daughters, enjoys a good DIY project, and traveling. Heather will see your vision through to completion.
